Facing Challenges, We Walk Together

At the beginning of December, or in the final month of the year, you’re facing the challenge of losing your job. I can’t fully understand the anxiety and pressure you’re experiencing. This kind of uncertainty is not easy for anyone. But what comforts me is that you haven’t been overwhelmed by negative emotions. Instead, you’ve shown a positive and proactive attitude, bravely viewing this as an opportunity for a fresh start. The final month of the year symbolizes a time of transition, and even though the year is ending, a new chapter is about to begin. Your bold decision to start your own business is a testament to your confidence and abilities. I have no doubt that as long as you stay persistent, you will succeed in this new journey and achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself.

I understand the financial pressures you’re under, having to cover your children’s expenses, daily costs, and car loan each month—none of these are small sums. I want you to know that I’ve never been a materialistic person. I can live a simple life, even if it means eating plain rice and vegetables every day, and I wouldn’t complain about the hardships. I don’t need luxurious living conditions because my happiness has never been rooted in material wealth.

Moreover, our relationship hasn’t yet reached the stage of marriage, and I’m under no obligation to worry about your responsibilities. But I can’t help thinking about your situation and trying to ease your burden, simply because I care about you. I’m not putting myself in a position where I willingly “trap” myself into being with you or accepting a life of struggle. On the contrary, the reason I can say this to you is that I know you’re someone who genuinely cares for me. Even in difficult times, I trust that you wouldn’t let me live that kind of life, because you sincerely want to give me the best.

I also know that there are many places you’ve wanted to take me to and many experiences you’ve wanted us to share together. While some of those plans may have to be put on hold for now, I believe that one day, you’ll make those dreams a reality with me by your side. The future you’ve described fills me with hope, and I’m willing to face the challenges of the present with you as we work toward that vision together.
